The Indian promoters, Jaypee group, are forkng out around 171 crores just to get the event , set to take place at the Buddh circuit on October 30., to their spanking new 875 acres in Greater Noida.

There is no prize money for f1 teams. Money earned through sale of TV rights, trackside ads and merchandise is pooled at the end of the year and distrubuted among the team based on their standing.
Ticket sales bring in the lion shares. For the Indian GP, the cheapest ticket available is Rs 6000 ( with seating) an the most expensive is Rs.35000. Of the other venues the cheapest ticket is turkish GP Rs5022 and the most expensive 3 day ticket is Monte Carlo for Monaco GP Rs. 36212.
A driver loses 2-3 litres of water in a race which may amount to almost 3 kg weight loss.Heart beat can rise to 150-200 bats/minutes in a race for F1 driver. A water bottle is in the cockpit with a pipe going through the driver helmet.
